If you just try to calculate your 2014 Health Insurance Rates without any tax credits, you may be in for a shock.

First, let’s be realistic, doing the calculation right now is more complex and difficult than an Advanced Quantum Physics exam. So let me cheat for you and give you one example.

A thirty five year old male purchasing a $1,000 deductible PPO plan from Blue Cross today will pay $256.00. Next year the same person with the same plan will pay $350.03.

That is the bad news. The good news is that we can make that price $301.70 without changing any of the benefits by accepting a different provider network. With a change in deductible and a different network, we can lower their rates.
